Who can travel to Paris today ?<\/h2>\n

In February 2021, French government is taking extra-measures to make sure the Covid-19 virus and its variants do not spread more through the country while the vaccination process continues.<\/p>\n

From January 31, any entry into France and any exit from the territory to or from a country outside the European Union are prohibited, except for compelling reasons.Entries in France, including for the European Union, are conditioned to the presentation of a negative PCR test of less than 72 hours.Overseas travel is allowed only on compelling grounds.<\/p>\n

Do I need to quarantine if I travel to Paris ?<\/h2>\n

You do not need to quarantine if you travel to France but you will have to show a negative PCR test of less than 72 hours if you want to enter the country.<\/p>\n

Are there flights to Paris right now ?<\/h2>\n

No, flights coming from outside the European Union are not allowed.<\/p>\n

What are the Covid-19 rules in Paris right now ?<\/h2>\n

On January 14, 2021, the Prime Minister announced the curfew at 18: 00<\/strong> throughout the metropolitan territory from Saturday.The purpose of the curfew is to limit gatherings where barrier measures are less well applied and where the virus is rapidly circulating while limiting the impact on the economy already strained by the epidemic.Outings and trips without derogatory certificates are strictly prohibited from 18: 00 to 06: 00 throughout the metropolitan territory under penalty of a fine of \u20ac 135 and up to \u20ac 3,750 in case of recidivism.<\/p>\n

This measure is also valid for foreigners.<\/p>\n

Are the restaurants and shops open in Paris ?<\/h2>\n

Restaurants are closed and only serving food on delivery since end of October 2020.<\/p>\n

Since the end of January 2021, shopping centers of more than 20,000 m2 are closed with the exception of their food shops.<\/p>\n

However, most shops remain open and must respect Covid measures and curfew established between 18:00 and 6:00 throughout the metropolitan territory.<\/p>\n
