De <strong>splendides peintures murales<\/strong> ainsi que des sculptures font partie de son programme d\u00e9coratif.<\/p>\n<p>Le Panth\u00e9on abrite dans sa crypte les <strong>tombes de nombreux auteurs, scientifiques et penseurs <\/strong>qui ont marqu\u00e9 l&rsquo;histoire, tels que Victor Hugo, Jean-Jacques Rousseau, Emile Zola, Voltaire, Marie Curie et Alexandre Dumas.<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;ascension du d\u00f4me du Panth\u00e9on fait l&rsquo;objet d&rsquo;un billet s\u00e9par\u00e9. Le d\u00f4me est souvent appel\u00e9 le \u00ab\u00a0balcon de Paris\u00a0\u00bb avec sa vue \u00e0 360 degr\u00e9s sur Paris.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"\">Le pendule de Foucault<\/h3>\n<p>Certaines personnes pensaient que la terre tournait autour de son axe, mais il n&rsquo;existait aucune preuve physique avant le 19e si\u00e8cle.La d\u00e9monstration du physicien L\u00e9on Foucault dans le b\u00e2timent du Panth\u00e9on a secou\u00e9 le monde en 1851. En construisant un pendule de 67 m\u00e8tres (220 pieds) sous le d\u00f4me du Panth\u00e9on, l&rsquo;exp\u00e9rience a prouv\u00e9 la rotation de la Terre sur son axe.Aujourd&rsquo;hui, il existe une copie exacte du pendule au Panth\u00e9on. Soufflot avait l&rsquo;intention de combiner le style gothique avec une structure classique.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"\">Sa fa\u00e7ade ressemble \u00e0 celle du Panth\u00e9on de Rome, avec un porche de colonnes corinthiennes et un grand fronton triangulaire.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"\">L&rsquo;excellente statue d&rsquo;Auguste Rodin intitul\u00e9e \u00ab\u00a0Le Penseur\u00a0\u00bb \u00e9tait expos\u00e9e ici au d\u00e9but du XXe si\u00e8cle. Aujourd&rsquo;hui, la statue originale se trouve au Mus\u00e9e Rodin.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"\"><span style=\"\">On soup\u00e7onnait que le corps de Voltaire avait \u00e9t\u00e9 vol\u00e9 au Panth\u00e9on par un groupe de fanatiques religieux. Ces rumeurs ont conduit les officiels \u00e0 ouvrir son cercueil en 1897 et il est ainsi devenu clair que les doutes n&rsquo;\u00e9taient pas fond\u00e9s.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"\">La tombe de Marie Curie se trouve dans la crypte du Panth\u00e9on. La facult\u00e9 de droit de l&rsquo;universit\u00e9 Sorborne et la biblioth\u00e8que Sainte-Genevi\u00e8ve sont proches du Panth\u00e9on.La station de m\u00e9tro la plus proche est \u00ab\u00a0<strong>Cardinal Lemoine<\/strong>\u00ab\u00a0, sur la ligne 10. Son ach\u00e8vement a \u00e9t\u00e9 retard\u00e9 en raison des difficult\u00e9s \u00e9conomiques. Il a finalement \u00e9t\u00e9 inaugur\u00e9 en 1790. Apr\u00e8s la R\u00e9volution fran\u00e7aise, il <strong>est devenu le mausol\u00e9e d&rsquo;un certain nombre de h\u00e9ros illustres<\/strong>.
